Operating beyond the unknowing

You may be doing this thing where you pretend not to know.

Where you grasp and flail and convince yourself you've no idea, no clue, no clarity on where to go.

You might start asking people around you, scouring the internet, popping things in Google. All driven by a belief you don't know your way, that you just can't see it.

Then the frustration comes. You keep looking outside of you, searching for the answers. In the next expert, the next Instagram algorithm, in the next thought.

Yet still the unknowing stays.

This is because you are missing the key.

You DO know.

As much as your mind and ego wants to tell you otherwise.

Your heart knows.

It beats, it sings, it expands, it shows.

Yet we turn away to every other influence than that place deep within us.

The place where the answers lie.

The direction lies.

And this takes a discipline to go beyond the mind and the noise.

Because how can you truly know that you can trust yourself?

What if you can't? What if you are wrong? What if you can't trust your feelings? Your heart? Your being?

This is the biggest lie we tell ourselves.

That we can't trust our inner knowing.

Our feelings.

Our truth.

Because you do know. You just won't sit within yourself long enough to hear it.
