It matters...

As mentors and guides it is important that we start seeing our relationship with our 121 clients as sacred.

Because when you truly understand your role as a Mentor, you understand how intimate and special that place is that you hold with others.

For me it’s become very very important who I let into my space.

As my business grows, as I do, it matters to me who I let into my world in such an intimate way.

It matters to me who energetically sits within my phone.

It matters to me who has direct access to my inbox, my Voxer, my diary.

It matters to me how I feel when I connect into my Voxer.

It matters to me the voices that I hear from my phone as I sit nestled into my pink chair in my office.

It matters whose energy I invite in.

It matters to me the kind of conversations I am having.

The depth matters. The vulnerability matters. The love matters. The conversations matter.

It should be as important for us as it is for our clients.

When I mentor I am in a space with my clients exploring the most intimate of things. I have the honour of being there for the big life moments, I have the honour of knowing the deepest parts of them, I have the honour of often being the first person they celebrate with. I even have the honour of being witness to how their day is unfolding. I get to be part of their most tiniest of moments.

They are there for mine too.

I truly believe the clients we have are a reflection of us.

The depth of our relationship with our clients is not an accident.

It’s through intentionality.

It’s through a true commitment of how sacred the space is for both sides.

It’s honouring that on both sides, time is our most precious commodity, and we have chosen to spend it together.

How precious is that.
