Sometimes it gets so busy thinking...

Sometimes we just cannot see how certain things are possible.

How we get from A to B.

How we bring those big dreams alive or how we sort out those things that somehow we think need “fixing' about us.

Even now, knowing what I do, I find that I have a default I turn to.

The default of trying to figure it out myself.

This morning spirit kindly reminded me that my fixation on “thinking clearly” is the problem.

It’s a pattern I notice I can get in, when I am searching for answers I tend to start looking outside of me.

I read more incredible books, I turn to nature, to my spirit team, to my mentors.

I scroll through social media and look for inspiring posts or I whip out my journal and start trying to digest and process.

I might start thinking about one of the courses I am enrolled in and decide to absorb more teachings.

And it’s not that these things don’t have value - they have IMMENSE value - but it’s just I can sometimes use it as a crux, as a distraction, as a solution.

Often there is still the energy of doing that permeates all of it.

As I dig for solutions or inspiration and the next way to step forward.

As I start disconnecting from that place where the magic happens and I “busy” myself with being inspired.

Because this is a truth that is becoming increasingly clear for me.

The magic happens when I stop with the “busyness.” When I stop with the how, the figuring out, the looking outside of me for answers.

It’s when I let go of the reins and step into “the space" that the magic drops in. Flows through. Takes over.

So where is this space? I called on the good spirit old squad for help articulating this [written in quotation marks below]…

"It’s part of you, yet of you. You were born of it and through it. It governs all that is and all that will ever be. It is muddied by the ego’s obsession with what we call "mind thinking" and it is that pause between those thoughts where it can truly be found. It always lies beneath the muddiest of waters. You can always access this space because YOU ARE this space. WE too are this space".

So rather than trying to “think” yourself to wherever it is you are trying to go, trying to fix, trying to be.

What about if you sat in that space within you - the space available to all of us. The space that knows we don’t need to be fixed, healed, more, at the control of others.

The space where, when you are still and silent enough, you can access your wholeness.

The space where unlimited ideas, opportunities and magic are available.

The space where the Universe can do her thing.

The space where everything you need just flows. Abundance, well-being, wisdom.

A place where the miraculous happens.

A place that is connected to a force so mind-blowingly magical [the same force that moves the oceans, governs nature, connects us all] that all becomes possible.

This is not a place that you can think yourself into or work yourself into.

It’s the place within us that simply IS when we stop trying so hard. When we stop thinking so hard.

So what if we all came to rely on that space first? What if that became our default?

And for those of you who are THINKING, “But I don’t know how?".

Start with deciding that the “mind thinking" is part of what the problem is.

That it’s that space between thoughts, within the breath, within us, where it lies.

If you allow yourself to simply be with it.
